Traditional Games

This week some people came to our school and taught us Maori games. Their names were Matua Wiremu, Whaea Ange, and Whaea Amy. The game I really liked was this game where you had two pou. One at the top and one at the bottom. You had two teams who had to get the ball from one pou to the other pou and back to where you started. If you dropped the ball you would have to restart. It was so much fun. Matua Wiremu said back in the day they used heads and if you dropped it you could not go on trips it was bad luck. I would really love to play this games again.
